When we accept Christ into our hearts, our lives are no longer our own. And by that, it means when we surrender our hearts to God, we get to live in freedom – trusting that He is in control and has everything planned out according to His promises for us.

"My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." - Galatians 2:20
