Elijah is a big deal in the Bible. He was God's appointed prophet during the reign of the particularly evil king Ahab. His job was to tell the nation that God was bringing a drought to the land of Samaria during the drought. God looked after Elijah and made sure that he had enough to drink and eat.
And it was after three years of no rain. That God instructed Elijah to meet with Ahab. Tell him to turn from his wicked ways and follow the one. True God. During the meeting, Elijah issued Ahab with a challenge. I want you to gather 450 profits of baal and 400 profits of Asher and have them meet me at Mount Carmel.
Two altars were built and two animals were provided for a sacrifice one for God and one for. Elijah explained that they were both to ask their God, to bring fire down from the sky to consume the oxen. The false profits of baal did this and tried everything they could to conjure fire, but nothing worked.
Then it was Elijah's turn in an unusual move. He drenched the oxen and firewood with water. Once the offering was. He called down the fire of God and instantly it came down and burnt up the offering, even though it was soaking wet moments later, a great and mighty cloud formed on the horizon. And for the first time in over three years, it rained.
This was a good time in the life of Elijah king. Ahab told his wife Jezebel about what had happened and she was not happy. In fact, she was so angry that she sent a messenger to tell Elijah that he was as good as dead. Even after such an incredible sign from God. Elijah was afraid and ran for his life into the wilderness, sitting down under a tree.
He told God I've had enough, take my life for, I am no better than my ancestors. Elijah had gone from an amazing victory. To the lowest point in his life, but God had other plans for him. He sent an angel to give food to Elijah and protect him as he slept. God knew what the depressed and discouraged Elijah needed a powerful wind tore through the mountains, then an earthquake and a fire.

Engaging children of this generation in worship - - Building the lives of children all over the globe.
We believe that teaching children to love God and others takes place in both the home and in the church. For this reason, we seek to partner with parents (the greatest teachers of all!) and with church pastors and leaders, equipping them with great resources. Through fun experiences, meaningful music and ministry that encourages kids to participate, we present Jesus Christ and His Church in a relevant way, creating moments that children will never forget.
Anyone can do what we do. The simple key is to love God, love His Church and have fun!
