Mary Bravely Accepts!

Sometimes God adds a little bit of extra to our ordinary lives. On one particular morning, a young lady named Mary who was about 12 or 13 years old was going about her daily chores. Suddenly an angel named Gabriel was sent by God to pay Mary a visit. Good morning, you are beautiful with God's beauty.

The angel said beautiful inside and out God. Be with. Mary was extremely surprised and a little bit scared. She wasn't expecting any visitors. Mary, you have nothing to fear. God has a gift for you. You'll become pregnant and give birth to a son and you are to name him. Jesus. Mary stood in stunned silence.

He will be great and will be called son of the highest the Lord. God will give him the throne of his father. He will rule Jacob's house forever, no end ever to his kingdom, but how asked Mary I'm not even married? The holy spirit will come upon. You answer the angel Gabriel and the power of the highest hover over you.

Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called holy son of God. Mary took a seat as she tried to take in the. Remember your cousin Elizabeth, the angel asked, oh, of course Mary replied. She was unable to have children, but look what God did. She conceived a son, even though she's too old for children.

At that the angel left her to top it all off. God made sure that Joseph Mary's fiance knew too. He sent an angel to speak to Joseph in a dream.

So Joseph would understand what was going on. God's holy spirit has made Mary pregnant, said the angel. She will give birth to a son and you are to name him. Jesus, which means God saves. Then Joseph wake up. He did exactly what God's angel commanded in the dream. He married Mary. And when the baby was born, they named him.

Jesus. Mary had received extra ordinary news and she had done nothing to gain the unmarried favor from the Lord, God graced her to carry and be the mother of the savior of the world who would forgive all our sins. She was both willing and brave to carry out as God had intended throughout the Bible. God worked through ordinary and unlikely people in incredible ways.

You and I are just as ordinary and just as unexpected. So.
