I will never forget these moments at the @DollyParton @MusiCaresFoundation event. I remember thinking, “how on earth am I going to present this song before Dolly Parton herself?” — but the room came alive with the potency of those lyrics, and fear was completely smothered by love. I will forever look back on this moment and say thank you Dolly & MusiCares for bettering our world through music and education, and giving me the opportunity to sing a song with such a rich meaning and such a deep message ❤️
