Jon has struggled with anxiety most of his life. A few years ago, He got burnt out and completely shut down while serving as Executive Worship Pastor at his church which led to him stepping down. Not from the church. He needed time to heal and regroup. After a season of rest, he began writing again. What is needed on the earth right now? What does the Lord want me to sing?” Out of a broken place, he began leading again - “broken” as a positive place (when we are weak, He is strong). His goal is to be real, raw and authentic. People have a hard time believing what’s happening in the church because it always looks and sounds so good. Jon wants to take us behind the curtain - Unveil. Jon wants people to know that this album came out of a need for healing, but this doesn’t tie a bow around it - his life is still a work in progress.
