Why I didn’t use this version of "Ten Thousand" on the original "The Medicine" record? As we combed through outtakes looking for bonus material for "The Medicine (10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)," I came across it and scratched my head. “Ten Thousand” is easily the most important song to me on this record, and this alternate full band take was absolute magic! I’m not sure what type of headspace I must’ve been in to not go with this drum version a decade ago... though Sarah and I had just had our fist baby and sleep deprivation must have been a factor. Whatever the case, I’m so happy to share it with you now on this new record! Hope you enjoy!
