"This song came from a mixture of scripture and experience. I was staring at a print my roommate made, titled, “Afterthought” (shout out Sarah Dill, @lil_dillllll), and memories of how God has met me and continues to meet me brought me to a place of overwhelming thankfulness. This song is a reminder of my ever changing nature juxtaposed with the Lord’s constant faithfulness. When I couldn’t find within me the strength to turn to Jesus, Jesus met me. When I looked at myself in shame, Jesus responded by rejoicing over me with singing (Zephaniah 3:17). It blew my mind enough to write a song about it. I hope this song reignites your awe in Jesus." - Nali Wells
