Recorded in various locations around the UK and mastered at the legendary Abbey Road studios, Still is emotive and reminiscent of a film score, combining strings, brass elements and electronic instrumentation.  

If you are a fan of Rivers & Robots, you will want to immediately add this to your collection. If you’re new to Rivers & Robots, this is a great introduction!

Songs are crafted in their inimitable style and although this is clearly intentional as to stay true to their take on music and worship, this definitely feels like an album that is accessible to many.

The songs are easily recognisable and offer you a chance to engage in worship in a different way that goes against the flow and normal ideas of what instrumental worship has sounded like previously. Gone are the dated, stereotypical sounds we normally associate with this kind of project and instead, placed front and centre, are the film score fuelled tracks like “boldly I approach” and the beat loaded “saviour of the world”. Also swathing some of the tracks are a string quartet and the odd brass section which again adds to the emotive feel this album brings.

If you are into Rivers & Robots this is a great album to add to the collection which is definitely in-keeping with their vibe but likewise if you are new to the Rivers and Robots party this is a great introduction to them which will surely lead you into exploring more of music in the future.
